Mokena, IL - Kathy L. Thomas, 62, beloved wife of Chuck Thomas, late of Mokena, passed away. She was the loving mother of Andrew Reddicks and Jessica Gross, and the proud grandmother of Winter and Violet Reddicks. Kathy was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gloria Bitz and the dear sister of Daniel, Susan, and Mary Ann Bitz. She was a caring aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was a woman of diverse interests and quiet strength. An accomplished black powder pistol shooter, Kathy was proud of her shooting contest victories. She enjoyed outdoor activities like gardening, fishing, and appreciating nature's tranquility. A talented seamstress and garage sale enthusiast, Kathy had an eye for beauty in the overlooked. Her love for Cadillacs, particularly her beloved 1992 Sedan Seville, held a special place in her heart.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Mokena, IL, with a Chapel Service following. Interment will be held privately.
