Joseph Gemmellaro, age 56 of Clearing, was the cherished son of Grace and the late Francesco, loving brother of John Gemmellaro, and devoted uncle of John Franco Gemmellaro and Nicole Gemmellaro. He was also the dear nephew and godson of Michelle Campione.

His funeral took place on Monday, April 28, with services held at St. Michael Church following a procession from RICHARD J. MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES. Entombment followed at Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27.

Joseph was known as the lead singer and lead guitarist of the band Fishwhistle. Remembered as a generous and talented individual, he was an ardent fan of Chicago sports teams, particularly the Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks. Joseph's dedication was evident as he set aside his music and accounting career to care for his parents.
