Margaret A. Anderson | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Margaret A. Andersen, 86, of Homer Glen, passed away under the care of Lightways Hospice. Born in Chicago and a resident of Marian Village in Homer Glen, Margaret was a former member of St. Dennis Church in Lockport. She found joy in crocheting, BINGO, word searches, and treasured moments with friends at Marian Village.

Margaret and her late husband Gregory shared 52 years of marriage filled with love and family. She was known for her dedication as a wife, mother, and graham cracker, fostering deep connections with all who knew her. Margaret's bond with Gregory was a true example of commitment and partnership.

Predeceased by her husband, parents, and son-in-law, Margaret is survived by her children: Billy Schmude, Jeff Schmude, Chris Kulinski, Greg Anderson, and Jim Anderson; grandchildren Angela, Jeffery, Brittany, Corynn, TY, and Charlie; great-grandchildren Brantley and Kane; and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory are welcomed, or shared time with loved ones is encouraged. Cremation rites have been carried out per Margaret's wishes.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at O'Neil Funeral Home in Lockport, IL, followed by chapel prayers and a Memorial Mass at Marian Village Chapel in Homer Glen. Margaret will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her love and devotion to family and friends.
