Longtime Resident Rich Pabst Passes Away at 91

Frankfort - Rich Pabst, 91, of Frankfort, died on Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home. Survived by wife Nijole “Niji” Pabst, children Patrick Pabst, Kathleen Pabst, Richard Stanevicius, Kristin Aguilar, sibling Allen McGrew, grandchildren Paul Pabst, Elizabeth Doucette, Teeg Pabst, Brianna Stanevicius, Casey Flesch, Trevor Stanevicius, Sofia Aguilar, Bella Aguilar, great grandchildren Mason Doucette, Olivia Doucette, Phillipp Pabst, Grace Pabst, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, pet Charlotte. Preceded in death by parents Emery & Eleanor Pabst, siblings Robert Pabst, Dennis Pabst, Butch McGrew. Rich had 44 years of sobriety with Alcohol Anonymous, member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, CMA Motorcycle Club, M&M Motorcycle Club, Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club. Retired from Katz & Katz Realty, Jazz Musician. Visitation on April 22nd, 2025, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel. Funeral on April 23rd, 2025, prayers at funeral home at 9:30 AM, Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Chicago. Donations suggested to PAWS of Tinley Park, Doctors Without Borders, Anew Shelter in Homewood.
