Harold Benjamin Kaufman Sr. Passes Away at 83

Harold B. Kaufman Sr., 83, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away on April 7, 2025. He is survived by his wife Mary, children Kim, Tim, Hal Jr., Connie, and Kathy, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kaufman was born in Chicago, IL, where he excelled in wrestling and later became a police officer in the South Suburbs of Chicago, retiring as Detective Sergeant in Midlothian.

Kaufman enjoyed woodworking and golf, and shared many adventures with his wife, Mary. A dedicated member of The Stone Church for over 50 years, he served in various leadership roles. A Fellowship and Celebration of Life will be held on April 28, 2025, followed by a Memorial Service on April 29, 2025.
