Ronald E. "Ron" Wagner, 81, Remembered for Dedication to Family and Community

Ronald E. "Ron" Wagner, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2025. He is survived by his wife Linda, children Neil, Brad, and Kylie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, special aunt, and lifelong friend.

Ron graduated from Peotone High School in 1962 and retired from Will-DuPage Service after 40 years as a grain bin building specialist. An enthusiastic lawn mower rider and handyman, he found joy in being "Mr. Fix-It". An active member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Ron was dedicated to the DartBall team and line danced with his wife for 25 years. He was also a Charter Member of the KingsWay Kickers Dance Club. Known as a supportive partner, loving father, and good friend.

A visitation and service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Manhattan, IL, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, with interment at Manhattan Center Cemetery. Special thanks to hospice nurse Tony Richard, caregiver Matt Disabato, and Reverend Pat Morton for their care and support.
