Joliet announces road closure on N. Raynor Avenue for watermain work

The City of Joliet Public Utilities Department has announced that N. Raynor Avenue between Mason Avenue and Black Road will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The closure is due to planned watermain work. During this period, drivers are advised to use alternative routes.

The city has ensured that a detour will be posted to guide drivers around the closure. The Public Utilities Department urges drivers to exercise patience and maintain safety by driving slowly through construction zones.
