Peggy Johnson, 78, of Wilmington, Illinois, peacefully passed away on April 1, 2025, at her daughter's home in Joliet. Survived by her three children, nine grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren, Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard "Sonny" Nation, and brother Alfred Fial. Cremation rites have been accorded per Peggy's wishes. Funeral services are scheduled at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Wilmington, with Reverend Sebastian Gargol and Deacon Jay Plese presiding. Inurnment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Family and friends are invited to share memories on Peggy's online memorial page. Funeral arrangements are managed by Reeves, Fruland & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory. Contributions in her memory can be made through the funeral home's flower store for memorial trees or flowers.
