Glen Bormet | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Glen A. Bormet, affectionately known as "Bones", a lifelong resident of Homer Glen, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the age of 83. Bormet was a devoted husband to Janet and father to Steve, known for his kindness towards animals and people. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was proud of his work in maintaining his residence, farming, and trucking. Bormet retired in 1999 from Citgo Oil Refinery after many years of dedicated service and was a United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janet, son Steve, siblings, and extended family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at O'Neil Funeral Home, followed by private entombment.
