Joyce E. Quigley, aged 79, of Manhattan, passed away on March 13, 2025, at University of Chicago Hospital. She was the daughter of Emmett and Veronica Quigley and was raised in Joliet, IL. Joyce had an extensive nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital Joliet, specializing in pediatrics, labor and delivery, and birthing suites for 45 years. A devoted member of the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, she also served in various community organizations.

Joyce is survived by her brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, nephew, and fiancé. Visitation will be held on March 18, 2025, at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church on March 19, 2025, with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice or Les Turner ALS Foundation are appreciated.
