Henry D. Watters, Jr., also known as "Butch," aged 70, of Wilmington, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born on March 30, 1954, in Joliet, IL, to Henry D. and Velda Watters, Sr., he retired from ComEd in building maintenance. Henry had a passion for John Deere tractors and spent many joyful moments riding his motorcycle, hunting, and immersing himself in the outdoors. An avid craftsman, he could often be found in his workshop. Henry was a devoted grandfather who cherished the time spent with his grandchildren as well as his dogs. He eagerly anticipated the arrival of his great-grandson in April.

He is survived by his son Josh (Malissa) Watters of Kankakee, grandchildren Lauren, Andrew, and Sofia Watters, great-grandchild Kyla Watters with another on the way, significant other of 30 years Shelley Greve, and his beloved dogs Gunner and Bo. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Velda Watters, Sr., and Florence and James Shula, who raised him.

Cremation rites have been observed, with private inurnment at Bohemian National Cemetery in Braidwood, honoring Butch's memory and his love for his family and the great outdoors.
