James G. Emerson, 75, of Orland Park, IL, passed away on December 20, 2024. Known for his enjoyment of building puzzles, dining out, and relishing Italian food, especially spaghetti, James had a big heart and cared deeply for everyone. His greatest joy was spending quality time with his family.

He is survived by his cherished significant other Debra Grafrath, loving children Tina and Jason (Karie), and cherished grandchildren Louie, Nathan, Izzy, and Chase. James was the caring brother of David, Donald, and Donna, and the son of the late George and Sophia Emerson. He was a kind uncle to several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Mokena, IL, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. The interment will be private.
