Frankfort, IL - Karen L. Burcar, age 79, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at her home. She is survived by her husband, Anthony James Burcar, children Matthew, Mark (Constance Persico), Michael (Amanda Motyka) Burcar, grandchildren Anastasia (Vlamison) Araujo, Tatiana (Michael Dudash) Burcar, Victoria, Angelina, and Alexandria Burcar, and great-grandchildren Lilliana and Bella Araujo.

Karen, preceded in death by her parents Harry & Ethel Kraniak, was a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort and previously worked at Summit Hill School District #161. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
