Richard C. "Dick" Webber, Veteran and Union Pipefitter, Dies at 80

BRAIDWOOD, IL - Richard C. "Dick" Webber, an 80-year-old veteran of the United States Air Force and Union Pipefitter with Local 597, passed away at his home in Braidwood, IL on Friday, October 25, 2024. Webber, born in Chicago, IL on July 18, 1944, enjoyed fishing, hunting, crossword puzzles and word searches. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Mason Post 815 and the American Legion Post 39.

Webber is survived by his wife, Betty Webber, and leaves behind a large family including children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Preceding him in death were his parents, Herman and Ruth Webber, as well as other family members.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m.
