Dixie Lee Renner, aged 86, passed away at the ARC of Dwight on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Renner, born in Joliet Township, IL on September 10, 1938, was known for her hard work and community involvement. She owned and operated various restaurants, worked at BP, and served as a bus monitor. Renner was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Braidwood and enjoyed square dancing, BINGO, and traveling to Tennessee.

Renner is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Evelyn Renner.

Visitation will be at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with the funeral service scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Braidwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the donor's choice.
