New Lenox, IL – Kenneth C. Hossack, Sr., 82, a lifelong resident of New Lenox, passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2024. Kenny dedicated 46 years of his life to the New Lenox Fire Department, serving as the first full-time Fire Chief. He was passionate about waterfowl hunting, fishing trips with his wife Lynn, and attending dirt racing events in his motorhome. Kenny's true happiness came from spending time with his family and friends.

Survived by his wife Lynn, children Phyllis, Vicki, and Kenneth Jr., as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Visitation and Service will be held on October 30th at Hickey Memorial Chapel in New Lenox. In lieu of flowers, the family requests spending quality time with loved ones in memory of Ken. Private interment of cremains will take place at North Providence Ridge Cemetery in Elwood.
