9. Items for Consideration & Recommendation

a. Consider a Motion to Recommend Approval of Payment of the Village of Homer Glen’s August Legal Bills from Peterson, Johnson and Murray in the Amount of $28,181.50.

b. Consider recommending approval a reimbursement grant award under the Commercial Building Improvement Grant Program to SK Creameries Homer Glen LLC (dba Creamery) for eligible improvements at 15112 S Bell in the amount of $5,000.00?

c. Is there a motion to pull from the table consider a motion to recommend approval of a Temporary Business Retention Sign for Grove Valley Center?

(If that passes)

Is there a motion to recommend approval a Temporary Business Retention Sign for Grove Valley Center, 15741-15761 S Bell Road, from Integrity Sign in the amount of $6,110.00? It is understood that final pricing would be subject to engineering requirements to meet Village design criteria for wind load, snow load and frost depth as specified in the RFQ.

d. Consider a Motion to Recommend Approval of one of two quotes for the 2024 parkway tree installation program.

e. Consider a Motion to Recommend Approval of one of the four (4) Quotes for our MPSP Agreement.

f. Consider recommending for Approval a Motion to update the current Media Communication Policy (SOP 013).

1) Motion for Consideration (Option #1): Is there a motion to recommend updating the current village social media policy (SOP 013) to define the village’s social media sites as limited public forum and to include restrictions on comments.

Or,

2) Motion for Consideration (Option #2): Is there a motion to recommend updating the current village social media policy (SOP 013) to define the village’s social media sites as not a public forum and to restrict all comments.

g. Consider a motion to recommend approving an Ordinance authorizing the sale of Surplus Park property which includes a 2003 Sterling Acterra A-6500 Dump Truck, 2007 For Taurus and 2004 John Deere Tractor with attached Tiger Boom Mower.

h. Consider a motion to approve the quote received from K-Brothers Fence of Mokena for the south gate at Public Works in the amount of $10,495.00?
