The Finance, Administration & Land Acquisition Committee meeting was called to order at 6:30 P.M. by Alderperson Kirwin.

Public Comment

No public comment was made.

Approve Previous Meeting Minutes

Alderperson Knight made a motion and Alderperson Jeffries seconded to approve the July 16, 2024 meeting minutes as written and have them placed on file.

Upon roll call, the vote was:

AYES: 8 Knight, Jeffries, Kirwin, Vice, Mietzner, Smith, Holmes, Allred

NAYS: 0

The motion carried.

Review and Consideration to Approve the Accounting Reports

The committee reviewed the accounts payable report and agreed to approve it at the August 20, 2024, Council meeting.

Consideration to Contribute to the Will County Auxiliary by making a Specific Monetary Donation

Committee members reviewed the request as included in the agenda packet. After some discussion, they agreed to a $1000 donation and to move this to the August 20, 2024 City Council agenda for full approval.

Consideration to Contribute to the American Post 191 Golf Outing by making a $60 Sponsorship Donation

Committee members reviewed the request as included in the agenda packet. After some discussion, they agreed to a $60 donation and to move this to the August 20, 2024 City Council agenda for full approval.

Adjournment

The motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Alderperson Knight and seconded by Alderperson Vice. Upon voice vote, all yes, and the motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 6:39 P.M.
