A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to approve the July 15, 2024 Public Service Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:

Award of Contract for the 2024 Traffic Signal Materials Purchase Order No. 1 to Traffic Control Corporation in the amount of $202,580.00

Purchase of License Plate Recognition Equipment from Minuteman Security Technologies, Inc in the amount of $56,738.26

A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to recommend ID-1778-20, 1779-20, 1780-20, 1781-20, 1782-20, 1783-20, 1784-20, 1785-20, 1786-20, and 1787-20 for approval by full Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

CHANGE ORDERS/PAY ESTIMATES/FINAL PAYMENTS

Change Order No. 3 for the Sidewalk Vault Improvements - 102 N. Chicago Street, 175 N. Chicago Street, 2 Clinton Street to Lindblad Const Co of Joliet Inc. reducing the amount by ($145,019.40) and Payment No. 5 and Final in the amount of $167,007.18

Sean Mikos discussed Change Order No. 3 for the Sidewalk Vault Improvements and Payment No. 5 and Final, in the amount of $167,007.18, to Linblad Const Co of Joliet Inc.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Pat Mudron, to recommend ID-1788-20 for approval by full Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Hug, Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon

ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Pace Regarding Transit Shelters

Allison Swisher discussed the Resolution Approving the Subrecipient Award Agreement between Will County and City of Joliet for the Fairmont Water and Sewer Extension Project.

A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to recommend ID-1791-20, and 1792-20. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Hug, Councilman Mudron and Councilwoman Reardon

Allison Swisher discussed that the State has set aside $3 million for the 2025 lead service line replacement.
