Maddy Regan, a junior softball player for Millikin University, was named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference team for the Spring season of 2024. She was also named to the CCIW All-Conference second team.
According to a Millikin University press release, Regan is a junior Human Services major who graduated from Lincoln Way East. A student-athlete must be enrolled as a full-time student to be recognized, must have participated on a team during the 2024 spring season, and must have at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA. They must have completed two semesters at their current institution before being eligible for Academic All-Conference recognition.
Regan was one of six Big Blue Softball players honored by CCIW as All-Conference, with three on the first team and three on the second team. Junior first baseman Regan was named to the second team. She hit .325 at the plate with three doubles and nine RBI.
