A motion was made by Councilman Cesar Guerrero, seconded by Councilman Larry E. Hug, to approve the February 5, 2024 Public Service Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilman Guerrero

Abstain: Councilman Mudron

Approve Emergency Repairs to the Well 23D to Great Lakes Water Resources Group in the amount of $117,195.00

Allison Swisher, Public Utilities Director, discussed emergency repairs to Well 23D, in the amount of $117,195.00, with Great Lakes Water Resources Group.

Award of Contract for Professional Engineering Services for the Design of the Pilcher Park (Highland Avenue) Culvert to Willett Hofmann & Associates in the amount of $45,721.00

Sean Mikos, Deputy Director Engineering, discussed the Contract for Professional Engineering Services for the design of the Pilcher Park (Highland Avenue) Culvert, in the amount of $45,721.00, with Willett Hofmann & Associates.

Professional Services Agreement for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Investigations and Rehabilitation Program to RJN Group Inc. in the amount of $494,526.00

Anthony Anczer, Deputy Director Engineering, discussed the 2024 Sanitary Sewer Investigations and Rehabilitation Program, in the amount of $494,526.00, with RJN Group Inc.

Professional Services Agreement for the 2024 Annual Service Agreement for Sewer System Monitoring to Xylem Vue Inc. in the amount of $63,522.0

Resolution Accepting Grant of Easement for the Parkview North 2024 Water Main Improvement Project

Anthony Anczer discussed the Grant of Easement from the Joliet District 86 for the Parkview North 2024 Water Main Improvement Project.

Resolution Appropriating Rebuild Illinois Bond Funds for the Theodore Street (FAU400) Widen and Resurface Project - MFT Sect. No. 18-00515-02-WR in the amount of $3,592,706.33

Resolution Authorizing Approval and Execution of a Real Estate Sales Agreement for the Purchase of Real Property (12550 Bell Road)

Allison Swisher discussed the property to be purchased for the Grand Prairie Water Commission at 12550 Bell Road. Federal funds are used for the purchase of this property.

A motion was made by Councilman Cesar Guerrero, seconded by Councilman Larry E. Hug, to recommend ID-1596-20, 1597-20, 1598-20, and 1599-20 for approval by full Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Hug and Councilman Guerrero

Absent: Councilman Mudron

LICENSE AND PERMIT

Application for a Drive Thru Permit for a Starbucks Restaurant at 480 Houbolt Road
