The City of Joliet Public Utilities Department has announced an upcoming event aimed at informing residents about the 2024 Water Main Replacement Projects. In a statement released on March 8, 2024, the department extended an invitation to the public to attend an Open House to learn more about the projects.
According to the City of Joliet Public Utilities Department, attendees are encouraged to drop by the open house at the Eastside Wastewater Treatment Plant Admin Building on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, between 5 pm and 7 pm. The department clarified that there will not be a formal presentation during the event, but Project Representatives will be present to address any questions from the community.
For those unable to attend the Open House, the department provided an alternative method to stay informed. "If you are unable to attend or would like to stay informed throughout the process, please visit www.joliet.gov/construction-project to stay up to date," stated the City of Joliet Public Utilities Department. Additionally, they offered a contact number for further inquiries, advising individuals to reach out to the Public Utilities Department at (815) 724-4220.
