REGULAR MEETING of the Committee of the Whole of the City of Lockport, Illinois was held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in the Board Room, 3rd Floor, of the Central Square Building, 222 E. Ninth Street, Lockport, Illinois. Mayor Steve Streit called the Meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

1. Saban – Summer Art Series
a. Monday Night Car Show – starts June 5 thru August 28, at 4 pm
b. Friday’s in the Park – June thru September, 1st Friday of every month

a. Waste Management Yard Waste and Branch Pick-up has started
b. City of Lockport Branch pick-up will take place May 1
3. Lobes
a. Lockport Resource Center and Lockport Police Department will be holding the annual Bicycle Repair Day – Saturday May 6, 9 am – 12 pm. For more information contact the police department non-emergency.
b. Lockport Officers Plane Pull Special Olympic Fundraiser at Lewis University – April 29, starts at 9:30 am
c. HOA Special Meeting last week was well-attended

PW-1. Approving the Appropriation and Eligibility of MFT Funds for the Maintenance of Streets and Highways by Municipality Under the Illinois Highway Code in the Amount of $350,372
Director of Public Works, Brent Cann, presented the Staff Report. Request to approve IDOT Form Resolution No. 23-039 approving the Cost, Dedication, and Eligibility of the MFT to the Project.
DIRECTION: Add to the Consent Agenda for the May 3 City Council Meeting
