Roll Call

A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, to do a consent agenda. The motion carried by the following vote:  

Aye: 6 - Trustee Chavez, Trustee Palmiter, Trustee Griffin, Trustee Richards, Trustee Clancy, and Trustee Aguirre 

Non-voting: 1 - Mayor Noak

A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Palmiter, to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion carried by the following vote:

RES22-3505 A Resolution Approving a Legislative District Office Space Lease (“Lease”) with the Illinois House of Representatives by its agent, State Representative Dagmara Avelar, not individually but in her official capacity, pursuant to the General Assembly Compensation Act, 25 ILCS 115/1 et. seq.

5. MAYOR'S REPORT  

Congratulations to Romeoville Flag Football and to HPSAC! Condolences to the Kusreau family on the passing of Justin. Congratulations to all our DARE graduates! We added two more schools this year. Thank you to our police department for the outstanding job they do with this program. It was a great Holiday Lights Festival! It was great to be a part of Grand Haven's Holiday Parade again this year. I will be the speaker at the December Chamber Luncheon and will attend Irene King Elementary School to view their holiday doors. Have a happy and safe holiday season! 

6. CLERK'S REPORT  

Congratulations to Romeoville Flag Football Super Bowl Champions and to HPSAC for 60 years! No update from Community Service Council. Their next meeting is January. The Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation will have their next meeting at Romeoville Village Hall. They are still planning for the March fundraising dinner. The Holiday Lights are so beautiful and will put you in the holiday spirit. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 

7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS  

8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT  

The ComEd path has been completed. The Rec Center along with other departments did a fantastic job on the Holiday Parade and the Fire Department did a great job with the Grinch pancake breakfast. Happy holidays on behalf of the staff! 

The Mayor commented that we still have Village ornaments for sale!

This Ordinance was Approved.  

RES22-3499 A Resolution to Approve Professional Service Task for Phase 2 Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment (OCCT) Study and Demonstrative Study Services from Strand Associates Inc.  

This Resolution was Approved.  

RES22-3500 A Resolution to Approve Professional Service Task Order for Phase 2 Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment (OCCT) Study Services from Cornwell Engineering Group  

This Resolution was Approved.  

10. BOARD COMMENTS  

Trustee Richards- Planning and Zoning will meet December 13th. 

Condolences to the family of Justin Kusreau. Congratulations to our three Super Bowl Champion teams! It is great to see so many parents involved to keep this program going. HPSAC is completing their 60th year of service! They donate a lot of money to local organizations. It is a great group who do a lot for so many generations here in the community! 

Congratulations to Sebastian for high honors. The holiday lights and parade were phenomenal. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 

Trustee Aguirre- The next Police and Fire meeting is December 13th. 

Congratulations to our Flag Football Super Bowl Champs! Thank you to HPSAC for your 60 years of service! Thank you to the Village and all the departments for a phenomenal holiday lights event! Come see the lights while they are on! Have a safe and blessed Happy Holidays! 

Trustee Clancy- The next KRB meeting is January 5th. The Recreation Center's winter/spring brochures are now available. Join us for our winter break camp from Dec. 21- January 4th from 8 AM-4 PM. Enjoy the lights, they look tremendous. They are even great to drive thru. Congratulations to all the Flag Football winners. Congratulations to the HPSAC for their 60 years! Congratulations to Sebastian on his high honors. 

Trustee Chavez- The Holiday Lights had a great turnout. Many thanks to the sponsors and to the staff. It's amazing how time flies, 16 years since RFFL started! Many thanks to the parents who keep that program going. Thanksto HPSAC for their 60 years of service to the community and too our past members who got the organization started. They are very active with the Village and are at a lot of our events. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a New Year. 

Trustee Palmiter- The next Special Events Commission meeting is January 17th. Condolences to the Kusreau family on the loss of Justin. Great turnout for the Tree Lighting! Thanks to Kelly and her staff along with all the department for the success it was! Congratulations to our Flag Football teams! Huge thanks to HPSAC for all they do and all they have done for the last 60 years. Congratulations to Sebastian for high honors. Happy holidays to all. 

Trustee Griffin- Condolences to Justin Kusreau's family. Great job to HPSAC. Congratulations to all the footballer players. Happy Holidays to everyone.
