ROLL CALL

Present: Councilman Larry E. Hug, Councilwoman Bettye Gavin and Councilman Terry Morris

ALSO PRESENT:

Allison Swisher - Public Utilities Director, Anthony Anczer - Deputy Director Engineering, Greg Ruddy - Public Works Director, Nick Gornick, Bill Baltz, and Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

A motion was made by Councilwoman Bettye Gavin, seconded by Councilman Terry Morris, to approve the September 6, 2022 Public Service Meeting Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Hug, Councilwoman Gavin and Councilman Morris

CONTRACTS

Award of Contract for the Purchase of Ammonia Analyzers for the Westside and Aux Sable Wastewater Treatment Plants to Gasvoda & Assoc Inc. in the amount of $57,650.00

Allison Swisher, Director of Public Utilities, discussed the purchase of YSI ammonia analyzers, in the amount of $57,650.00, on behalf of Gasvoda & Assoc Inc.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Bettye Gavin, seconded by Councilman Terry Morris, to recommend TMP-4473 for full Council approval. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Hug, Councilwoman Gavin and Councilman Morris

CHANGE ORDERS/PAY ESTIMATES/FINAL PAYMENTS

Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $158,006.61 and Final Payout in the amount of $258,103.36 for the Essington Road and W Jefferson Street Interceptor Sewer Project to Len Cox & Sons Excavating

Anthony Anczer, Deputy Director - Engineering, discussed Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $158,006.61, on behalf of Len Cox & Sons Excavating.

Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contract for the Design / Permitting / Drafting for the Chicago Street (Jefferson - Webster) Water Main Improvement Project to CivilTech Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $82,972.10

Anthony Anczer discussed Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Contract for the Design / Permitting / Drafting for the Chicago Street Water Main Improvement Project, in the amount of $82,972.10, on behalf of CivilTech Engineering, Inc.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Bettye Gavin, seconded by Councilman Terry Morris, to recommend TMP-4474 and TMP-4475 for full Council approval. The motion carried by the following vote:
