CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS

This section is for anyone wanting to speak regarding agenda items and are allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. It is not a question and answer period and staff, and the Zoning Board of Appeals members do not generally respond to public comments. The City Clerk has a copy of the public speaking procedures; please note, speakers who engage in conduct injurious to the harmony of the meeting shall be called to order by the Presiding Officer and may forfeit the opportunity to speak.

OLD BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING

During the Public Hearing, members of the public will be allowed to present evidence and ask questions subject to the rules of the meeting.

PETITION 2022-47: A Variation on signage to allow a wall sign that does not face a public way, located at 2211 W. Jefferson Street.

NEW BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING

During the Public Hearing, members of the public will be allowed to present evidence and ask questions subject to the rules of the meeting.

PETITION 2022-65: A series of Variations to reduce the front yard setback from 30 ft. to 17.5 ft. and to reduce the northern side yard setback from 8.44 ft. to 7.64 ft. to enclose the existing covered front porch, located at 1109 Nicholson Street.

PETITION 2022-66: Variations to allow two main structures on one lot and to reduce the minimum lot area per family from 2,500 sq. ft. to 2,039 sq. ft. per unit to allow the addition of a fifth dwelling unit, located at 410 Buell Avenue.

PETITION 2022-67: A Special Use Permit to allow a day care center in a B-1 (neighborhood business) zoning district, located at 221 Springfield Avenue, Units 4 and 5.

PETITION 2022-68: A Variation to reduce the required amount of parking from fourteen (14) parking spaces to eight (8) parking spaces for 221 Springfield Avenue, Units 4 and 5.

PETITION 2022-69: A Special Use Permit to allow a mini storage facility with an office, located at 310 Caterpillar Drive.

PETITION 2022-70: A Special Use Permit to allow construction equipment sales and rentals in a B-3 (general business) zoning district and an I-1 (light industrial) zoning district, located at 100 Barney Drive

PETITION 2022-71: A Special Use Permit to allow a truck & travel plaza with a truck terminal, located at 23551 & 23525 S. Vetter Road.
