Illinois Secure Choice is the state mandated retirement plan that requires Illinois employers (with 25 or more employees and in business for two years) that currently do not offer a retirement plan to enroll.
This November the employee threshold lowers to 15; and in 2023 the threshold lowers to five with penalties and fines for non-compliance.
