April: Wilmington experienced a 57.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Wilmington rose by $77,050 while total sales increased by 12.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $211,000 - a 57.5 percent increase over the $133,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Wilmington in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,462, approximately 1.6 percent of the median home sale price for April.
