1. Overturning the Decision of the Planning and Zoning Commission and Approving Appeal #APCD-21-005 by Nora Perez, Applicant for Zoning Case #ZC-21-071, in Joliet Township, Commonly Known as 2117 Maple Road, Joliet, IL, PIN #30-07- 01-200-018-0000, County Board District #8 (Brian Radner)
Committee discussed denial of Zoning Case at Planning and Zoning Commission level. Objectors voiced concerns as read in the Statement of Facts. Zoning Case ZC 21-071 was denied unanimously, 0-5 at the November 2nd Planning and Zoning meeting. The appeal was filed in a timely manner. Motion to postpone the Appeal Case APCD-21-005 was approved unanimously, 5-0 at the January 11th Land Use & Development meeting.
2. Motion to Oveturn the Decision of the Planning and Zoning Commission and to Approve Appeal for Variance for Minimum Animal Confinement Setback from 50 ft to 4.36 ft (west side) (V-21-081) and from 50 ft to 31.81 ft (northside) (V-21- 087)
Roll Call Vote was taken. Motion passed 4-2.

Owner's Agent Attorney Nate Washburn of Kavanagh, Grumley and Gorold LLC requested an extension for the Special Use Permit. The applicant sold the property. They are getting a site plan to proceed with plans. Covid was the reason they were not able to allotted time frame.
Board Member Julie Berkowicz asked about the impact of the weight of the trucks on the road.
Staff said to Board Member Berkowicz that the Special Use Permit was already approved. This request is only regarding an extension of that Special Use Permit.
Board Member Berkowicz said she will email questions she may have to the applicant.
4. Motion to Approve First Extension for Special Use Permit w/3 Conditions

Chairman Marcum said that due to Colin Duesing's absence, this item will be postponed to the March 8, 2022 meeting.

2. Committee Members, Will County Land Use and Development Committee Tom Weigel said he visited solar farms in some Eastern sites. He asked if there were landscaping requirements?
Staff said there are no requirements for landscaping.
Steve Balich said he also agrees.
Steve Balich said is there any information about Landfill being sued?
Matt Guzman said it is pending legal litigation. There hasn't been any further discussion.
Staff said if you receive any inquires, we recommend you have them talk to Matt Guzman.
Steve Balich said he wants to talk to a trusted group.
Jacqueline Traynere said she would like some information also. She will forward her contact information to Matt Guzman.
