On Dec. 30, Carlos F Mendoza and Beatriz Nunez purchased a home at 1704 Avalon Ave., Joliet from James A. Miller (trustee) and Miller Rita (trust) for $165,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $2,803.10, 1.7% of the sale price of the home.

So far in December 2021, 157 properties sold in Joliet.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Rita A. Miller, 95, was the only registered voter residing at 1704 Avalon Ave. as of Oct. 10, 2020.
