CONTRACTS
Amendment #2 CMS Medicare Ground Data Collection of the Original Andres Medical Agreement/Contract
Chief Blaskey briefly discussed Amendment #2 CMS Medicare Ground Data Collection of the Original Andres Medical Agreement/Contract in the amount of $35,000.00 to be paid in May 2023.
Award of Contract for Body Worn Camera Program 517-21
Mr. Sternal spoke about the body worn camera program in the amount of $1,026,000.00 to be paid in four years.
PURCHASES
Purchase of 88 SCBA air packs, 176 SCBA air bottles, and 114 SCBA masks from Municipal Emergency Services
Fire Chief Blaskey discussed the purchase of 88 SCBA air packs, 176 SCBA air bottles, and 114 SCBA masks from Municipal Emergency Services in the amount of $652,450.00. He said that the Fire Department has been selected to receive a grant from FEMA through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program in the amount of $652.480.00. The grant requires the City of Joliet to match $59,316.36 and submit for the AFG FEMA grant award in the amount of $593,163.64.
A motion was made by Councilman Clement, seconded by Councilman Hug, to recommend for approval to the Full Council Contract Item No's and TMP-2672.

ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
A Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Acceptance and Implementation of a 2021 Justice Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance
Deputy Chief Carlos Matlock discussed a 2021 Justice Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice for the amount of $57,537.00.
A motion was made by Councilman Hug, seconded by Councilman Clement, to recommend for approval to the full Council Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Acceptance and Implementation of a 2021 Justice Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance for the amount of $57,537.00.
