Frankfort native and Lincoln Way East graduate Madi Corey has been named player of CCIW Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Year.
Corey, a senior Political Science major, is the seventh Titan in program history to be named the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Year.
A First Team All-CCIW selection, Corey was named the conference Player of the Week twice this season. She leads a potent Titan attack with 566 assists on the year, averaging 5.34 assists per set in conference play. She also leads the Titans with 39 service aces and is fourth on the team with 246 digs.
Corey won two letters in volleyball and one in soccer at Lincoln Way East. She played volleyball for coach Steven Anderson and was varsity captain her junior and senior year, also earning All-Area honors from the Daily Southtown.
