The Frankfort community will have something to celebrate when Nick Allegretti suits up against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday,
Allegretti, a guard for the Kansas City Chiefs, played prep football at Lincoln-Way East High School.
He was a three-star recruit coming out of Lincoln-Way.
Allegretti joined the University of Illinois over four other Division I offers.
He was selected by the Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL draft and has started much of the 2020 season.
Allegretti and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 5:40 p.m.
