47 percent of applicants to the University of St Francis were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of St Francis, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 67 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Joliet enrolled 3,927 students in fall 2018, including 1,629 in undergraduate and 2,298 in graduate programs, data shows. 15.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 10 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (60 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (20 percent).

The school admitted 47 percent of the 1,847 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 25 percent enrolled.
