Aurora (Kendall County) home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Aurora in Kendall County fell by $2,750 while total sales decreased by 22.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $253,250 - a 1.1% decrease over the $256,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Aurora in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,852, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
