The Board of Education of Wilmington Community Unit School District No. 209-U met in special session at 2:00 P.M. in the Wilmington High School Board Room. President Cragg called the meeting to order with the following members answering roll call: Dziuban, Kunz, Southall, Stickel and Cragg. Anderson – absent. Moran- Absent.
Moran joined in at 2:01 P.M.

A motion was made by Stickel and seconded by Southall to approve the agenda for the Friday, June 19, 2020 special meeting of the Wilmington Community Unit School District No. 209-U Board of Education as presented. Anderson-absent, Dziuban-aye, Kunz-aye, Moran-absent, Southall-aye, Stickel-aye, Cragg-aye. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Stickel and seconded by Dziuban to approve the adoption of the board meeting calendar by amending Board Policy No.: 2:200. The meetings will be the 2nd Monday of each month with the following exceptions: July no meeting and October 19th (3rd Monday due to Columbus Day). Anderson-absent, Dziuban-aye, Kunz-aye, Moran-aye, Southall-aye, Stickel- aye, Cragg-aye.
Motion carried.
A motion was made by Southall and seconded by Stickel to approve a recommendation to rescind prior approval of Resolution No. 10-20 (Adoption of 2020-2021 budget) from June 8, 2020 and approve Resolution No. 13-20 (Adoption of final amended 2019-2020 budget). Anderson-absent, Dziuban-aye, Kunz-aye, Moran-aye, Southall-aye, Stickel-aye, Cragg-aye. Motion carried
A motion was made by Stickel and seconded by Southall to approve the Facility Use Request submitted by the Wilmington Island Park District to use the outdoor basketball hoops located at SIS, on July 13-August 5, 2020 (Mondays and Wednesdays only) from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Anderson-absent, Dziuban-aye, Kunz-aye, Moran-aye, Southall-aye, Stickel-aye, Cragg-aye. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Stickel and seconded by Southall to adjourn until the Regular meeting on August 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. Closed Session will begin at 6:00 p.m. The Budget Hearing will be at 5:30 p.m. All aye. Motion carried
