Homer Community Consolidated School District 33C Board of Education met April 28.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

President Martin called the meeting to order at p.m.6:45. Roll call: Briner, De Filippis, DeSchaaf, Hitzeman, Marcinkewicz, Trzeciak were present via video conference and Martin was present in person.

President Martin led the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were eleven public comments received. Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Mike Portwood read all comments aloud. Parents Renee Zastro, Tiffany Papafotopoulos, Sarah Durkin, Jaime Hozhauser Jen Ivey, Carrie Molinero, George Karras, Tracy Stevenson, Jennifer Schmitt, and Susan Perry shared their thoughts, concerns, and questions, regarding e-learning and also implementing e-learning in place of snow days.

Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Mike Szopinski shared the 2020-2021 E-Learning plan.

Hitzeman motioned and Marcinkewicz seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. The Board all were in favor of adjourning the meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
