2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60544?

There were nine offenders released on parole during 2019 that live near Illinois zip code 60544, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Will County Gazette.

The data shows that the nine released offenders living in Plainfield zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 53-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Kenneth Vanus. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016, when he was 53 years old. He is now 57.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
