City of Joliet issued the following announcement on May 1.
Even though City Hall is physically closed to the public, staff is still at work maintaining essential governmental services. No water will be shut off for non-payment. We encourage residents to pay municipal bills online, pay by phone by calling (877) 811-3799, or using the drop box in front of City Hall. No garage sale permits will be issued during the duration of the order.
