Manhattan home prices rise in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Manhattan rose by $10,759 while total sales decreased by 39.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $264,524 - a 4.2% increase over the $253,765 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Manhattan in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Manhattan for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $6,666, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
