Manhattan home prices fall in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Manhattan fell by $50 while total sales decreased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $254,950 - a 0% decrease over the $255,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Manhattan in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Manhattan for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $6,666, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
