Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 2.
The Village of Channahon's contract with Waste Management for solid waste (garbage, recycling & yard waste) collection services ends on April 30, 2020.
As such, the Village is exploring other collection options through a Request for Proposal process. You can view the RFP in full at this link.
A new contract is expected to be in effect by May 1, 2020.
The Village President and Board of Trustees are committed to finding the best services for our residents at the most reasonable cost.
