City of Lockport issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.
Bring in the holiday season with our annual holiday tradition, hosted by the City of Lockport, Lockport Township Park District, and Lockport Township Government.
Saturday, November 30

Get your picture taken with Santa and let him know what you want for Christmas. Santa will have a special gift for each child. Take pictures with our special reindeer guests! There will be family crafts, cookie decorating, train rides and other entertainment.
Take part in Main Street’s Passport to Lockport, and enter to win the grand prize. Visit the Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Small Business Saturday. And stop by the Gladys Fox Museum to see the Festival of Trees and vote for your favorite tree!
Finally, and most importantly, help us Light Up Lockport at the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. This is a free event for all ages. The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, activities may be adapted.
