CHAIRMAN'S REPORT: No Report.
SECRETARY'S REPORT: Chairman Batzek submitted for review and approval the minutes from the July 19 Special Meeting.
Stockton moved, Batzek seconded, to approve the minutes from the July 19, 2018, meeting. Roll call vote. Ayes: Batzek, Stockton (2), Nays: (0), Absent (1). Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS: None.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Discussion was held for requesting a quotation from Stanard & Associates Inc. for the administration of the testing and application process and assistance with the selection of candidates for the position of Police Officer for the Board's Eligibles List. Much discussion was had regarding same. It was agreed that the Commission would solicit a Services Agreement from Stanard. This Agreement, if available, will be reviewed at a Special Meeting in October.
Stockton moved to call a Special Meeting of the Board on October 1, 2018, at 6:30 PM to discuss and review the proposal the Board anticipates receiving from Stanard & Associates. Roll call vote. Ayes: Batzek, Stockton (2), Nays: (0), Absent (1). Motion carried.
OTHER ITEMS:
1. Review and approval of bills. Stockton moved to pay Kavanagh, Grumley and Gorbold LLC a bill in the amount of $122.50. Batzek seconded. Roll call vote. Ayes: Batzek, Stockton (2), Nays: (0), Absent (1). Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: None.
ACTION REGARDING EXECUTIVE SESSION: None.
