Frankfort Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.
Peace Lutheran Church, 1900 E. Lincoln Hwy (across from Lincoln-Way Central High School) will host its 23rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Noon, November 28. You are invited to spend the holiday with them If you are alone or in need, or are new to the area and want to meet others, or would like to spend Thanksgiving with members of the church. The dinner is free, but reservations are required. Let them know how many children and how many adults by Friday, Nov. 22. Call 815-485-5327 or email peacechurch@peacenewlenox.org. Transportation will also be available to those who need it and they will deliver to the homebound.
