Under the revised version, a wider range of ordinance violations may now be handled in administrative adjudication. As a result of the expanded scope of violations, a variety of technical revisions have also been made to the procedural portions of Chapter 42A to facilitate flexibility for the Village and residents in resolving administrative adjudication violations. The Village anticipates that diverting these types of matters into its administrative adjudication will generate more timely and efficient compliance with respect to these types of violations, improving overall resident quality of life.
