Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60417?

There were two offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 60417, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Will County Gazette.

The data shows that two men were released in the Jacksonville zip code. Of these parolees, there were none reported to be veterans, and the median age of the parolees was 26 years old. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old male sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017, and the oldest was a 29-year-old male sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Malik Erkins. Erkins was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017 when he was 21 years old. He is now 22.
