Illinois General Assembly: SB2050 actions on May 16

The following actions were taken on May 16 in the House on Senate bill SB2050 ("veh cd-disabilities awareness"): "Placed on Calendar Order of 3rd Reading - Short Debate" and "Second Reading - Short Debate".

The bill, as it was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Julie A. Morrison (D-29) on Feb. 15, "amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to allow for the issuance of developmental disabilities awareness decals for Universal special license plates by the Department of Human Services" and "provides fees for the decals," according to the General Assembly website.

The following senators also co-sponsored the bill: Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-49), Cristina Castro (D-22), Napoleon Harris, III (D-15), Antonio Muñoz (D-1) and Laura M. Murphy (D-28).
