Illinois General Assembly: HR32 To Income Tax Subcommittee

The following action was taken on Feb. 28 in the House on House bill HR32 ("no taxes on retirement income"): "To Income Tax Subcommittee."

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. David McSweeney (R-52) on Jan. 10, "states the belief that the Illinois Income Tax Act should not be amended to permit taxing retirement income," according to the General Assembly website.

The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: Mark Batinick (R-97), Tim Butler (R-87), Jonathan Carroll (D-57), Andrew S. Chesney (R-89), Tony McCombie (R-71), Margo McDermed (R-37), Patrick Windhorst (R-118), Sam Yingling (D-62) and Jerry Costello, II (D-116).
