The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Justin Slaughter (D-27) on Feb. 15, "amends the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act" and "provides that the crime victim has the right to register with the Prisoner Review Board's victim registry," according to the General Assembly website.
